Description
The Child of Shadow, Noxis.
Noxis may be dark by element but she is as pure as her siblings and has never faltered from the Mother's will. Once the land was saved she imprisoned a fragment of the ancient beast's soul within a perfectly round purple gem. She hid deep underground near the forest where her sister, the Child of Earth, had taken rest. Later she would depart for the heavens and leave her own child, Sventrous, in charge of looking after the Shadow E'leevari. Sventrous did his job well until he began to grow corrupt. Noxis was forced to intervene and deal with Sventrous.
Sventrous tried to rebel but Noxis prevailed in the fight and banished her creation to the underworld. Though it is unknown exactly why Sventrous turned on Noxis, the Shadow E'leevari believe it has to do with the ancient battle against the Servants (the opposites of the Children). They believe he was the manifestation of the impurities cast upon her in ancient times. the Shadow E'leevari have since integrated this belief into their culture to prove to Noxis they will not betray her. How? By creating a manifestation of their darker emotions and either destroying or controlling said manifestation. Noxis actually finds that amusing and appreciates how loyal her branch is.
Noxis is supposed to represent the night sky. Her body is the sky, her eyes representing of the moon, and the stars are her clothes that she wears. Like all her siblings her hair is her element, though it is believed to also represent the shadows of nighttime.
In personality she's actually lighthearted and kind, although she has a wrath unlike any of her siblings. She is unforgiving to those who betray her trust or bring harm to the land she protects. Noxis is also one of the only Children to still communicate with her E'leevari branch, although it is rare she does.
