Miss Aether

It's Salina you dorks. xD "Miss Aether" is just what Freelancer Nova calls Freelancer Aether (who is Salina Aran).

Salina's new outfit is heavily referencing Samus' orange outfit ([link] [link]). Why? Because post EotP the sisters are kept apart further by their jobs. They just went through a lot of crap together, enduring various hardships and trials while helping the mutant kids of the fallen Andra Organization. They had been apart for 20 years prior without knowing they were alive. It was Samus' idea to collaborate on an outfit for Salina, that way Salina wouldn't forget their adventure together. Samus allows her sister to create a similar outfit to hers and both collaborate to make what you see. (Might write up a one shot for that someday since it's POST EotP and won't be included in the actual fanfic.)

This outfit combines some elements. Salina (save her ZeroSuit) mostly wears outfits that consist of red/brown/white which are widely used in the luminoth society and natural to their biology. Salina, being raised amongst the luminoth picked up on that. You'll also notice how this outfit resembles a Luminoth up around the neck (ref here [link]). The boots also give a slight reference to the luminoth as do the colors (duh). And Salina's hairstyle changes according to her outfit, so each outfit she wears she will have a different hairstyle unless she decides to put her hair back in her trademark bun.
