Hiding the Truth

I doll Anthea a lot I noticed, lmao. She's quite fun to work with though so I ain't complaining.

After working on the trade doll I did with ~Ideya-Freak I wanted to try and apply a similar concept to Anthea. Anthea is like Ghirahim in the sense she has two forms. The more colorful and brighter design is her disguise so to speak while the darker form is her true form.

A big thing in Anthea's design is black roses. Black roses (and rose petals) are kind of her trademark thing. In other words they are to Anthea's theme as diamonds are to Ghirahim. I had to include that here because of that. I think I did okay but it seems a bit hard to tell on her darker body. This transformation is fancier though than what she actually does. Anthea summons a bunch of thick thorned green vines around her and they pretty much weave around her body then constrict/compress on her. After a burst of light shines through they burst into black rose petals and she's changed forms.

I also did the line-less thing again. The upper half of the doll lacks lines to give more of a soft feel while the lower half keeps lines for a harsher feel. This plays on how she uses her disguise to appear less threatening and hide what she really is. The upper half's appearance is deceiving of the lower half's just like her identities.

I am really insanely happy with this doll. I didn't add her cloak in because it would block a lot of the detail you see here and I just simply didn't want that. If I added the cloak though it'd not be the full thing (obviously). It'd end like the transition you see on Anthea's body (which is the only thing I'm not too happy with).
