Containing the Past

Anthea again because I finally figured out how her story "ends".

Post-Skyward Sword she is no longer an enemy of Link's and establishes as an ally (even though she semi-was beforehand). This is because Ghirahim cast her aside and revealed that he used her power to further his goals. She broke her alliance with him and turned against him. Anthea is eventually discovered by Lorie in Faron Woods a few days after the ending. After a conversation Anthea decides to stay with Lorie and for a bit serves her purpose as a weapon. Anthea is around when Lorie and Herin start a family but grows frustrated by this as they stop adventuring and settle down. When they pass on she leaves without a word, no longer having reason to stay. From then on Anthea watches history as it unfolds. A long while later before Hyrule is actually settled, Anthea finds her way to a neighboring land: Termina.

Upon reaching Termina she finds it's at war. Ikana Kingdom, which at the time spanned over all of Termina, was in the midst of their war against the garo. The sight of a war was familiar to her but Anthea didn't have a desire to get involved. She was discovered, however, by the garo and used against Ikana. She held no objection as she was given purpose again. This lasted long enough for her power to tip the balance in favor of the garo. Later she was recovered by a soldier of Ikana when the garo wielding her died. Her power was unlike anything anyone had ever seen and had caused great fear in the soldiers of Ikana. The soldier that recovered Anthea (inside her blade) took her to the Great Fairy in the Ikana region, believing that this sword belonged to her (seeing as how she was a powerful being and how Anthea's blade/theme was similar). The Great Fairy could recognize what Anthea was and how dangerous she could be. She sealed the sword spirit and took custody of the blade. From then on the warriors on both sides referred to the now lost blade as the "Great Fairy's Sword".

Time passed and Anthea grew powerful enough to break her seal. She did so, but upon awakening she realized the war was over. Everyone had long since died though she could sense the spirits of the fallen all around. Ikana had fallen in the end and Termina changed drastically from what she knew of it. After a brief confrontation with the Great Fairy of Kindness, Anthea came to accept defeat. She was doomed to wander without purpose. After the war she was crafted for, she was nothing but a relic of a time long past. Anthea agreed to be sealed again but under the condition the seal could be broken again one day and that she remain partially aware. She was sealed and unable to speak, manifest outside her blade and generally interact with anyone. Anthea is aware of things outside her blade and can choose to lend her power to people who find her, but this is all she can do.

Once Link ends up in Ikana and restores the Great Fairy, Anthea is given to him when the Great Fairy senses he would be able to handle and make use of her power. Link takes the blade and Anthea recognizes him as a reincarnation of the Goddess' Chosen Hero (AKA the Link she knew originally). Instead of going against him, Anthea decides to "do things right this time" and lend him her power. Her power also allows her to remain with him, even when he goes back in time. Anthea stays with Link even after his adventure in Termina and eventually returns to Hyrule when he does. At some point she is discarded and passes hands yet again. This continues as she awaits the day her seal is broken when the requirements are fulfilled.

As for the doll itself: I had another idea in mind that would happen after this doll's scene. Anthea would be in the void of her blade, asleep, as the vines completely net around her in a loose, bubble-like manner. I couldn't find a base with the right pose so this was the next best thing. I may have also overdone it with the sparkles but hell, they were fun and get the point across. That being that the seal is magic much like she is... and also, fairies sparkle a lot so yeah.
