EDIT: The dA issue has been solved, but I'm still affected. I'm still in a slump, but at least the bigger issue is solved. Now if only I could do that with my family life... orz

I want to inform you all that I have been steadily running into a creative art slump. A lot of family drama has caught up to me and killed my artistic mood and recently something here on dA has upset me even more. This event has killed my art mood further and I almost want to just quit dA. I don't think many of you realize how much it hurts when I see people stealing/copying/ripping ideas from my OCs and using them on theirs. There's a fine line between inspiration and copying and I DO NOT feel flattered when people copy me or my ideas. I find it insulting. This affects me as a person and ruins my mood both online and off.

Please think of the artist(s)... we put a lot of time and effort into what we do. If you take from us, how do you think we'd feel? How would YOU feel if someone stole your ideas and called them your own? You probably wouldn't feel that great, huh? So please just think before you do things like this. I can't tell you how many times this kind of thing has happened to me over the years... every time it happens I just feel worse and worse.

After typing a 1,141 word note on the issue, I am hoping it gets resolved in the way it needs to be. I'm sorry, but after my next deviation, I probably won't be posting on dA for a while. I'll be around commenting and faving things, but I wouldn't expect much from me art wise.

Those of you who are aware of the situation, please keep quiet. I don't want the issue to become blown out of proportion. I'd rather give this person a chance than have them flamed to hell and back.
